I'm not sure I've used them much at all as an adult.

But I'm committed to experimenting and trying different art supplies, so I jumped right in for this week's video!

Canadian Thanksgiving is this weekend, and I remembered this tutorial!

These cute little pumpkins are some of my favourite place cards I've ever made.

They're perfect for Thanksgiving, fall gatherings, and even gift "tags" - the possibilities are pretty endless with these.

What I’m Playing with This Week...

I've had embroidery on my crafty bucket list for Y E A R S. And I'm finally doing it!

This week I'm working my way through Why Knot Stitches' course that teaches 30 (!!!) of the basic embroidery stitches.

I'm resisting the (very strong) urge to just skip ahead and start making stuff... I wanna get the basics down pat! (I know how important the basics are.... wink wink drills students wink wink)

Honestly, I just start really early! That, AND once I have the holiday spirit in full swing, I just tend to hyper fixate and do nothing else hahaha! I may not be the right person to ask!

This is also why Workshop Holi-Day is in mid-November instead of December. I want you to have plenty of time to complete these projects before the holiday season is in full swing!
