I bought the wrong pens. I grabbed the wrong paper. I went home and frustrated myself for weeks.

She also told me she had given up on calligraphy but wished she hadn't.
It got me thinking about all the people who have had “learn calligraphy” sitting on their to-do list for years but keep putting it off for one reason or another.
So consider this your sign if that sounds like you. Your nudge. Your permission to finally prioritize yourself and make it happen.
The ONLY creative thing I've done this week, honestly, is pick colours for my new house. Which... I'll be honest, I truly hate doing, lol!
But I think I'm going to paint my new brick fireplace wall a daaaark green, and also think I'm going to paint all the doors and doorframes in the house darker than the walls... something I've never done before!
