Great question! I usually recommend starting with the Tombow Fudenosuke (especially the hard tip) because itβs smaller and easier to control - perfect for beginners learning pressure.
That said, every once in a while, someone does tell me they prefer starting with the Tombow Dual Brush Pen! Itβs larger and more flexible, which can be trickier, but some people just love the feel of it right away.
So while Fudenosuke is my go-to beginner pick, it really comes down to personal preference. Try both if you can, and see what feels best! Just make sure you're using worksheets that are scaled appropriately... the Fudenosuke would be considered a small tip, whereas the Dual Brush would be considered a large tip (more on that here!).
