The Happy Ever Crafter

Hi, I'm Becca Courtice, a modern calligrapher and instructor from Ottawa, Ontario — I'm here to teach you everything I know! 👋

Happy April Reader!

Just popping in real quick with this week's roundup of cool crafty stuff happening over here, and I also wanted to say Happy Easter to those who celebrate! 🐰

Enjoy!

Join Me Down Memory Lane!

I was scrolling my Instagram recently to see which videos resonated the most, so I can make more helpful content...

Then I realized we should just revisit them together!

Some of them are real standouts (if I do say so myself!), and you might’ve missed them the first time around.

And btw if you’re not following me on Instagram yet, I’m @thehappyevercrafter - come find me!

Colour Theory Course with Lily-Rose Burgess!

A few months ago, I literally binged Lily-Rose's colour theory course like a TV show. 😅 It is soooo good.

And when I shared about it, tons of you asked me about how to join. Problem was... her enrollment was closed (she only opens it once in a while for new students!)

Good news: Enrollment for Mastering Colour Magic the Fun Way is open again until Tuesday!

Aaaaand you can get $100 off as a Happy Ever Crafter. 😏

P.S. If you love Lily-Rose as much as I do… you’ll be seeing her around here again soon. 👀 Hiiiint hiiiint!

The Lettering Seminar with Martina Flor!

Last month, I told you about Martina Flor’s free workshop - and now it’s go time.

Enrollment for her Lettering Seminar is officially open (and it’s SO good).

If you’ve been thinking about turning your creativity into income - whether that’s a side hustle or something bigger - this is 100% worth checking out.

She only opens this once a year, and doors close early next week - so don’t miss it.

What I've Been Up To This Week...

This week I used my craftiness to teach my daughter how to make Shrinky Dinks... and made the CUTEST gift for her dad in the process 😭

If you've never heard of Shrinky Dinks, it's a blast from the past from my childhood. It's basically a thin plastic paper you draw on, then you bake it, and it shrinks and hardens!

Highly recommend making shrinky dinks out of your kids (or your!!!!) drawings! So fun and easy.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, YOUR WEEKLY DAD JOKE!

Where does the Easter Bunny get his eggs?
From an eggplant!
